Six games on Thursday night including one of the craziest games in the league this season.

Sioux Falls 3 Winnipeg 1

This one defied logic. The Canaries were no hit through 10 2/3 innings but won on a three run opposite field home run by Jabari Henry. James Bradwell has to be scratching his head. Bradwell threw nine innings of no hit ball just to earn a no decision. Likewise Thomas Dorminy is finding out that win #10 is hard to come by as he threw seven innings of seven hit shutout ball striking out eight Goldeyes.

Lake Country 12 Kane County 3

The DockHounds took their third game in a row against Kane County and in doing so put another game in the standings between them and the three teams pursuing them. A three run Aaron Hill topped off a four run first inning, and they never looked back. Brian O'Keefe hit his sixth home run as part of a three hit night. Derek Maiben also had three hits for the DockHounds. Josh Allen had a perfect night for the Cougars going 3-3 with two doubles. Dominic Cancellieri won his second straight start and third in a row allowing three runs, one earned in six innings.

Kansas City 4 Chicago 3

Blake Rutherford's RBI single in the fifth inning was the difference as the Monarchs defeated the Dogs to take the series. Micah Pries homered for the Monarchs while Reggie Pruitt Jr. and Jacob Teter went deep for the Dogs. Blake Goldsberry picked up his fifth win allowing three earned runs in six innings while Hunter McMahon notched his ninth save.

Gary SouthShore 7 Cleburne 0

The RailCats led 7-0 after five innings and rode it to a shutout win over the Railroaders at La Moderna Field. Peyton Long picked up his fifth win throwing six shutout innings. The last four time the RailCats won a Long start, Long has not allowed a run, throwing 30 innings of shutout ball. But Long only got two wins and two no decisions in those starts. Junior Cerda in his RailCat debut threw three shutout innings.

Sioux City 5 Milwaukee 3

The Explorers polished off a sweep of the free falling Milkmen. Henry George went 2-4 with two runs batted in, one of the double inexplicably fell as the Milkmen outfielders lost track of the ball. Catcher Michael Quinones went 2-2 with two walks and is 4-5 in his first two games as an Explorer. Kyle Marman pitched into the seventh inning, picking up his seventh win allowing three earned runs.

Fargo-Moorhead 7 Lincoln 2

The RedHawks continued their mastery of the Saltdogs at Newman Outdoor Field sweeping their second straight series against the Saltdogs in Fargo. Jake Dykhoff allowed one unearned run on two hits in 6.1 innings of work. Dillon Thomas and Jose Sermo both homered and drove in two runs for the Hawks. The Hawks will ride the momentum into a huge six game stretch in which they will play three at first place Sioux City before returning home to face the Explorers three more times.
