In the words of Michael Scott, well well well how the turn tables. After being victimized by the big inning the last two nights, the Explorers break open a 1-1 game with a five run seventh inning including a grand slam by Joshua Day, hitting from the lead off spot. and cruise to a 6-3 victory. Austin Drury got his second win throwing seven innings and allowing a run. 2230 made it out to Kamp Oconomowoc to cheer on the Flying Monkeys.

Sioux Falls 5 Kane County 2

In the game I was at tonight, Peter Zimmerman connected for a two run home run and Mike Hart added a solo shot to lead the attack for the Canaries. Tanner Brown got his second win of the season throwing six innings and allowing a pair of runs on six hits while striking out eight Cougars. Christian Cosby extended his scoreless inning streak to 12.2 innings while picking up the save. An even 1700 saw it at the Birdcage.

Gary SouthShore 7 Milwaukee 2

The RailCats never trailed tonight, jumping out to a 3-0 first inning lead. After Milwaukee got back to within a run, Gary SouthShore added two runs in the eighth and ninth innings to pad the lead. Elvis Peralta went 3-4 and scored three runs. Andres Diaz allowed a pair of runs in six innings to get his first win of the season. 1510 filled the Milk Cooler to see it. 

Lincoln 10 Fargo-Moorhead 1

A two run home run by Drew DeVine and a grand slam by Neyfy Castillo helped power the Saltdogs to their fourth win in a row and propelled them out of the cellar in the West Division. Nate Blain won his third game of the year throwing six shutout innings. 3680 saw it at Haymarket Park.

Cleburne 5 Chicago 1

The Railroaders put the Dogs down for the fourth consecutive game. Three Railroaders runs in the first got the job done in this one, handing Connor Curlis his first loss of the season. Kyle Martin added a home run, his 10th of the season. Cristian Lopez got the win throwing four innings in relief only allowing an unearned run. 1739 were on hand for it at La Moderna Field. 

Kansas City 9 Winnipeg 0

This game was delayed by over an hour. If the Goldeyes had their way, it wouldn't have been played at all. The Monarchs dominated in all facets. Six of the nine batters for the Goldeyes picked up two hits with Isiah Gilliam and Ross Aldoph both homering. The Goldeyes didn't pick up a hit until the eighth inning. By that time Josh Hendrickson had thrown six hitless innings striking out 15 Goldeyes. 2482 braved the cold and dodged the raindrops at Blue Cross Park.
