Sioux Falls 4 Kane County 3

The Canaries jumped put to a 2-0 lead, only to see a three run seventh to take the lead. The Canaries took the lead back for good in the bottom of the frame, the difference a bases loaded walk by Mike Hart. 1917 were treated to a win for the home team at the Birdcage. Programming note: I'll be on hand the next two games to provide color for Tanner Hoops on the Canaries broadcast network. What an incentive to get to the ballpark where you don't have to listen to me.

Milwaukee 15 Gary SouthShore 4

After being shutdown by Lincoln two games in a row, the Milkmen found their mojo at the plate, with a 15 run, 17 hit attack in front of 1847 at the Milk Cooler. Three Milkmen had two hits and three more collected three, surprisingly not a home run among them. Glenn Santiago and Chase Estep drove in three runs each. Juan Diaz was the recipient of the ample run support throwing five shutout innings. In an odd occurrence, it was the winning team pitching a position players as Estep threw the last two innings.

Cleburne 7 Chicago 2

Steven Rivas had three hits, drove in and scored a pair as the Railroaders defeated the Dogs. Austin Faith beat his former team for his first win of the season allowing a run on two hits in six innings of work. A real nice crowd of 2853 witnessed it at the Pasta Bowl.

Kansas City 6 Winnipeg 2

The Monarchs win their third game in a row. Isiah Gilliam homered for the eighth time this season. Meanwhile John Nogowski had three hits to pace the Monarchs and drive his average to .471 since joining his former adversaries. Daniel Martinez won his second game of the season going six innings allowing one run. 3980 were on hand at Blue Cross Park.

Lincoln 7 Fargo-Moorhead 4

The long ball was the weapon for the Saltdogs in winning their third game in a row. Brody Fahr, Kyle Battle, Drew DeVine (since when did we start capitalizing the V?) and Neyfy Castillo all went deep for the Saltdogs. 6138 enjoyed a June evening at Haymarket Park.

Lake Country 7 Sioux City 2

Much like last night in Sioux Falls it was a big inning that did Sioux City in as the DockHounds put up six runs in the sixth. Kelvin Pilot threw six shutout innings to get his first win of the season.
